This freebie is said to be the result of a bet, with Briny Baird being the winner by teeing off from 375 feet in the air atop the Omni Hotel and landing the golf ball inside a bulls-eye 230 yards below in the outfield of PETCO Park, also known as the home of the San Diego Padres.
